To add map criteria to a search:
- Click the button to add an attribute to an existing search definition.
- From the attribute list, select Geospatial Information.
- Select Points or Poly Property <Item> from the drop-down.
- From the operator list, select:
- Inside to search within a selected map area.
- Outside to search outside a selected map area.
- Click the button.
- Navigate to the area on the map pane where you wish to search.
- Click the button.
- Drag the pointer around an area of the map.
- Wait until the green Lasso box is shown in the Map pane. Depending on size of search area it may take time before the green Lasso box is shown.
- Click the button.
- Wait until the focus is back to the search window.
After a short period, the selected area's coordinates are displays in a selection box
- Click on the Run button.
