To translate an option value:

  1. From the Customisation menu, select Data Inventory Manager.
  2. The Data Inventory Manager window displays.
  3. From the left pane of the Data Inventory Manager window, select the item or data category to which you would like to add a custom option.
  4. From the right pane, click the row associated with the item attribute to which you would like add a custom option value.
  5. Click the FieldViewIcon.png button.
  6. The Custom Options List window displays.
  7. From the Custom Options List window, click the Translate button.
  8. The Translated Terms List window displays the custom option values.
  9. Select the language for which you would like to provide the translation from the Language list.
  10. Click the Apply button.
  11. The list displays the terms for the selected language.
  12. Click the row associated with the option that you would like to translate.
  13. Click the FieldViewIcon.png button.
  14. The Translated Terms Editor window displays.
  15. Enter the translated term in the Translation field.
  16. Click the Save button.
