Preview an iReport Template in IMSMA: Difference between revisions

	Note that the preview feature only displays the attribute names and format of the report template. No data is displayed for the preview.

	The report "Statistics - Victims by Month and Accident Type" cannot be previewed. The reason is that it uses a SQL Field as a variable, i.e. there is a SQL query behind that variable. When doing preview the report is not executed, and the database is not accessed – hence the SQL field cannot be interpreted.

In the Customisation menu → Report Template Manager.

Select the row associated with the report template that you would like to preview.
Click the button.
