This page is the main hub for all topics related to MINT. It can be accessed through two angles:
- By topic, for looking up specific information.
- By tutorial (administrator/user), for following a virtual training course. The tutorial pages link to the topic pages for background information and include scenario-based exercises. The tutorials are still under development though and currently not a complete stand-alone training.
MINT by topic
MINT tasks for administrators
- Administrating MINT: management of (sub)organisations (comparable to spaces ensuring that only users from within an organisation have access to certain data), roles and users.
- Creating Data Sources in MINT: once the organisation is set up and roles and users are defined, the connection to the data sources to be analysed needs to be set up.
- Creating MINT Domains: domains are a mapping between (technical) source data and the end-user-friendly data view in MINT. Domains need to be defined and built step-by-step using the built-in Domain Designer.
- Securing MINT Domains: optionally, domains can be secured, i.e. the data - or part of it - can be made visible to only certain users or roles.
- Creating Custom Home Pages in MINT: the entry page a users sees when logging in can be adapted on a per-role basis.
- Customising MINT: advanced users can customise the appearance of MINT for a given organisation. This can include changing logos and colors.
