Importing Templates

Represents a tip or note for using IMSMA. Always import templates published in IMSMANG.
  1. Click Templates on the System Configuration tab.
  2. Click Import.
  3. Click Browse.
  4. Select a template, and then click Open.
  5. Click Import.
  6. The field report template displays in the list.

Deleting Templates

Represents a tip or note for using IMSMA. Keep the templates of any field reports that you need to open in IMSMA Remote Entry.
  1. Click Templates on the System Configuration tab.
  2. Select the templates, and then click Delete.
  3. Click Delete on the confirmation window.
  4. The field report templates no longer display in the list.

Importing Auxiliary Data

Represents a tip or note for using IMSMA. Always import data exported from IMSMANG.
  1. Click Auxiliary Data on the System Configuration tab.
  2. Locate the auxiliary data type, and then click Import.
  3. Click Browse.
  4. Select a file, and then click Open.
  5. Click Import.
  6. In the table, the total for the imported data type increases by the number of new records.

Deleting Auxiliary Data

Represents a tip or note for using IMSMA. When you delete auxiliary data used in a field report, the data will not display in the field report.
  1. Click Auxiliary Data on the System Configuration tab.
  2. Locate the auxiliary data type, and then click Delete.
  3. The total for the deleted auxiliary data type becomes 0.

Configuring Other Settings

  1. Click Other on the System Configuration tab.
  2. Configure the default settings as shown in Table 1.
  3. Click Apply when finished.

Importing Coordinate Reference Systems

  1. Click Other on the System Configuration tab.
  2. The Other Tab displays.
  3. Click Add in the Coordinate Reference System row. (Click Add)
  4. Click Add

  5. Click Browse to search for a .prj file to import. (Click Browse)
  6. Click Browse

  7. Locate and select a .prj file, then click Open. (Browse for a .prj file)
  8. Browse for a .prj file

  9. Click Import to import the coordinate reference system. (Import the .prj file)
  10. The coordinate reference system is imported to RE, and is now available for field report data entry.

Deleting Coordinate Reference Systems

  1. Click Other on the System Configuration tab.
  2. The Other tab displays.
  3. Select a coordinate reference system from the dropdown menu.
  4. The Coordinate Reference System import page displays.
  5. Click Delete. (Delete the CRS)
  6. The Coordinate Reference System is deleted.

    Delete the CRS
