Dionysia Kontotasiou joined the GICHD in March 2013 as MediaWiki specialist. She works on the development of the Collaborative Ordnance Data repository, which aims to create a reference data set and information ontology of explosive ordnance data that is structured, free and open to everyone. The database built on Semantic Mediawiki will facilitate the production of comparable statistics by national authorities and other mine action stakeholders. She is also the administrator of the GICHD MediaWiki server for documentation of the Information Management System for Mine Action (IMSMA).
