Identify Selected Items and Symbols

Occasionally, the icons symbols displayed on in the map Map Pane may overlap with one another. When this occurs, it becomes difficult to select and identify the item records items associated with the iconssymbols. The [[Image:InfoPageIcon.png]] button that is displayed in the items pane allows you to list the item records items associated with the icons symbols that are selected in the mapMap Pane.
To use the identify selection feature:

<li>Do one of the following:</li>
<ul>
<li>To identify icons symbols selected from in the mapMap Pane, use either the feature selection ([[Image:MouseIcon.png]]) or the lasso ([[Image:CatPaneIcon.png]]) map control to select icons from symbols in the mapMap Pane.</li><li>To identify item records items selected from the items paneItems Pane, select the rows associated with the item recordsitems.</li>
</ul>
<li>Click the [[Image:InfoPageIcon.png]] button.</li>
:The Identify Selection window lists the item records items associated with the selected icons symbols or item recordsitems.

From the Identify Selection window, you can display the summary Summary window for item records items in which you are interested by checking the checkbox beside the item and clicking the [[Image:ViewIcon.png]] button.
