When item attributes are dragged to the design pane, they typically include both a text label and the will use widgets for that data entry fieldtype. The data entry field and label All parts of the widget should be kept together present in the template in order to ensure that the integrity widget will work for data entry. If any one of the dataelements is removed, you should remove all related elements. Although you can change properties and e.g. the label text, be sure to provide a meaningful label so that it is clear to users what data they should enter in the field.
