Delete a Data Category

If you remove a data category, any item attributes in the data category will be moved to the Uncategorised data category of the corresponding item.

To remove a data category:

1. From the left pane of the Data Inventory Manager window, select the data category that you would like to remove.
2. From the left pane, click the button.
The data category is removed and any item attributes that were in the data category are moved to the Uncategorised data category of the corresponding item.
