Display Items in Map Pane

The item’s IMSMA map theme must be enabled in order for the icon to display on the map. You can control the icons displayed on the map by using the Theme Manager (see page 33) or by using the IMSMA themes toolbar. The map theme buttons and their descriptions are listed in Table 58 on page 263.

To display the icons for item records that you selected:

1. Select the row(s) from the items pane. You can select rows from different tabs.

To select multiple item records that are listed one after another, hold down the [Shift] key and click the range of rows for the records that you would like to select. To select multiple item records that are not listed after another, hold down the [Ctrl] key and click the rows for the records that you would like to select. To deselect an item record’s row, hold down the [Ctrl] key and click the row that you would like to deselect.

2. Click the button to display icons for the records that you have selected. If you would like to display icons for all records in the items pane, click the button. The icons for the enabled map themes display on the map. If you select a different country structure or item record, click either the or button to refresh the icons displayed on the map.

If you would like the map to automatically display all icons on the map without having to click the Show All button, modify the client.properties file and set the map.showAllAutomatically property to true.
