It is only possible to delete Ordnance classifications, Organisations and Places that are not referenced to from any other record in the database. An alternative to deleting is to set to inactive.
  1. From the Data Entry menu, select Ordnance classification, Organisation or Place.
  2. The List window displays.
  3. Select the row with the record you would like to delete.
  4. Click the button.
  5. The Delete confirmation displays
  6. Do one of the following:
    • To delete, click the Yes button.
    • If you do not want to delete, click the No button.
The following error message indicates that the place is referenced by a data entry form.
The selected item is in use within the system, and cannot be deleted.
