To upgrade from earlier versions to V6.0 consists of several steps:
- quality check of database
- upgrade of database
- uninstallation of earlier version
- installation of V6.0
- user training.
Note that all the data have to be imported into the database (at least to the workbench) before the upgrade process since xml and mdml files from earlier versions are not possible to import into V6.0.
