Local Item ID scheme/number series information is are managed through the Local ID Generator window. To access the Local ID Generator window, open <ol><li>In the '''Customisation''' menu, and then select → '''Data Entry Form Templates > ''' → '''Local ID Generator'''. <li>The Local ID Generator window displays a list of local item ID schemes/number series defined in IMSMA.

The Local ID Generator window contains two sections:
*A filter section for limiting the list of data displayed – You can filter the data displayed in the table by selecting a filter from the list and entering a value. Local ID generators passing the filter are listed in the table. More information for using the Local ID Generator window filter can be found under [[Filter the Local IDs Displayed]].
*A table for the data – By default, the table displays all local ID generators defined in IMSMA. To change the sort order of the data, click the column header associated with the attribute on which you would like to sort the data.
