Importing Templates

Note.jpg Always import templates published in IMSMANG.
  1. Click Templates on the System Configuration tab.
  2. Click Import.

  3. Click Choose Files.
  4. Select template in and then click Open.
  5. Click Import.

    6. The Data Entry Form template displays in the list.

Deleting Templates

  1. Click Templates on the System Configuration tab.
  2. Select the templates, and then click Delete.
  3. Click Delete on the confirmation window.

    4. The Data Entry Form templates no longer display in the list.

Importing Auxiliary Data

Note.jpg Always import data exported from IMSMANG. See Export Auxiliary Data for more information.
  1. Click Auxiliary Data on the System Configuration tab.
  2. Locate the auxiliary data type, and then click Import.
  3. Click Choose Files.

  4. Select a file and then click Open.
  5. Click Import.

    6. In the table, the total for the imported data type increases by the number of new records.

  6. Repeat until all Auxiliary data is imported

Deleting Auxiliary Data

Note.jpg When you delete auxiliary data used in a Data Entry Form, the data will not display in the Data Entry Form.
  1. Click Auxiliary Data on the System Configuration tab.
  2. Locate the auxiliary data type, and then click Delete.
    3. The total for the deleted auxiliary data type becomes 0.

Configuring Other Settings

  1. Click Other on the System Configuration tab.
  2. Configure the default settings as shown in the following table.
  3. Click Apply when finished.

Set the location where Data Entry Forms are saved and imported to Enter a location in the Data Entry Form Directory text box
Set the location where Data Entry Form templates are imported to Enter a location in the Template Directory text box
Set the location where Data Entry Forms are exported to Enter a location in the Data Entry Form Export Directory text box

Importing Coordinate Reference Systems

  1. Click Other on the System Configuration tab.
    2. The Other Tab displays.
  2. Click Add in the Coordinate Reference System row.
    3. Click Add

  3. Click Browse to search for a .prj file to import.

    Note.jpg In a standard installation of IMSMANG, coordinate reference system files are located in C:\IMSMAng\server\gis\coordinate systems.
  4. Locate and select a .prj file, then click Open.

  5. Click Import to import the coordinate reference system.
    6. The coordinate reference system is imported to RE, and is now available for Data Entry Form data entry.

Deleting Coordinate Reference Systems

  1. Click Other on the System Configuration tab.
    2. The Other tab displays.
  2. Select a coordinate reference system from the dropdown menu.
    3. The Coordinate Reference System import page displays.
  3. Click Delete.
    4. The Coordinate Reference System is deleted.
