The country structure names displayed in the IMSMA Navigation window’s To add a country structure pane are created using the ''Country Structure Manager'' window. To access the Country Structure Manager window: #1. From the '''Data Entry''' menu, select '''Country Structure Areas'''.{{important| If you have not yet defined the top-level country structure levels have been area, the following message displays:No top-level country structure is defined, . reate one with the Country Structure Editor. In the field below the Parent Area field, enter the name of the country structure that you would like displayed in the IMSMA Navigation window’s country structure pane. The label associated with the field will depend on the level of the country structure that you are definedadding      Figure 135. Please create them with Country Structure Editor Name and Alternative Names 5. If the country structure has other names by which it is known, add the alternate names by doing the following:a. Click the button in the Alternative Names section of the Country Structure Level Editorwindow.The Add Alternative Name window displays (Figure 136). Figure 136. Add Alternative Name Window b. Enter the alternate name in the Alternative Name field. The alternative names will also be displayed in the IMSMA Navigation window’s country structure pane. c. Click the '''OK''' button]]''. The Add Alternative Name window closes and the alternate name you entered displays in the Country Structure Editor window. 6. In the Geospatial Information section of the Country Structure Editor window, select the coordinate reference system that you would like to use from the Coordinate System list.7. Select the coordinate format from the Coordinate Format list. Figure 137. Country Structure Editor – Geospatial Information 8. There are several options for entering geospatial data. These options and the page on which you can find additional information are listed in Table 44. Table 44. Set the preferred map extent. The preferred map extent displays whenever you select the country structure area from the country structure pane. To set the preferred map extent: a. In the IMSMA Navigation window, set the map extent for the country structure area.{{note|Because certain map tools are unavailable after you click the button, it is recommended that you set the map extent before clicking the button}} b. Click the button.The Map Extent window displays.c. From the Navigation window, change the map extent to the one that you would like to display with the country structure.d. Select one of the following status options for the country structure:• Active – the country structure is displayed whenever the entire country structure tree is displayed.• Inactive – the country structure is hidden whenever the entire country structure tree is displayed. 11. Do one of the following:• To save the information you have entered for the country structure, click the Save button. • To discard the country structure information and close the Country Structure Editor window, click the Cancel button.
