In order to use them you should go to Map Layout in IMSMA, click on the Layout (first button: http://mwiki.gichd.org/IM/Apply_a_Template_to_the_Map_Page_Layout[[Apply a Template to the Map Page Layout]]) and select examples. Please note that you should select All Types (not .mxt). MXT. doesn’t exist anymore as a format. It has been replaced by the .mxd format.
