To inactivate a custom option:

  1. From the Customisation menu, select Data Inventory Manager.
  2. The Data Inventory Manager window displays.
  3. From the left pane of the Data Inventory Manager window, select the item and data category to which you would like to inactivate a custom option.
  4. From the right pane, click the row associated with the item attribute that you would like inactivate a custom option value.
  5. Click the FieldViewIcon.png button.
  6. The Custom Options List window displays.
  7. From the Custom Options List window, click the row for the option that you would like to inactivate.
  8. Click the UserManual CDFStatusIndicator.png Toggle Status button.
  9. The option display changes from (Active) to (Inactive).
  10. Click the Done button.
Note.jpg After inactivating an option, you should update data entry form templates that use the option.
