Importing Templates

Note.jpg Always import templates published in IMSMANG.
  1. Click Templates on the System Configuration tab.
  2. Click Import.
  3. Click Browse.
  4. Note.jpg These instructions are for Internet Explorer Version 9 browser. Google Chrome browser users will see a Choose Files button instead of a Browse button.
    Note.jpg Templates are stored in the IMSMA Installation Directory/client/FormTemplates folder.
  5. Select a template in the Choose File to Upload window, and then click Open.
  6. Click Import.
  7. The Data Entry Form template displays in the list.

Deleting Templates

Note.jpg Keep the templates of any Data Entry Forms that you need to open in IMSMA Remote Entry.
  1. Click Templates on the System Configuration tab.
  2. Select the templates, and then click Delete.
  3. Click Delete on the confirmation window.
  4. The Data Entry Form templates no longer display in the list.

Importing Auxiliary Data

Note.jpg Always import data exported from IMSMANG.
  1. Click Auxiliary Data on the System Configuration tab.
  2. Locate the auxiliary data type, and then click Import.
  3. Click Browse.

  5. Select a file in the Choose File to Upload window, and then click Open.
  6. Click Import.
  7. In the table, the total for the imported data type increases by the number of new records.

Deleting Auxiliary Data

Note.jpg When you delete auxiliary data used in a Data Entry Form, the data will not display in the Data Entry Form.
  1. Click Auxiliary Data on the System Configuration tab.
  2. Locate the auxiliary data type, and then click Delete.
  3. The total for the deleted auxiliary data type becomes 0.

Configuring Other Settings

  1. Click Other on the System Configuration tab.
  2. Configure the default settings as shown in Table 1.
  3. Click Apply when finished.

Importing Coordinate Reference Systems

  1. Click Other on the System Configuration tab.
  2. The Other Tab displays.
  3. Click Add in the Coordinate Reference System row.
  4. Click Add

  5. Click Browse to search for a .prj file to import.

    Note.jpg In a standard installation of IMSMANG, coordinate reference system files are located in C:\IMSMAng\server\gis\coordinate systems.
  7. Locate and select a .prj file, then click Open.

  9. Click Import to import the coordinate reference system.
  10. The coordinate reference system is imported to RE, and is now available for Data Entry Form data entry.

Deleting Coordinate Reference Systems

  1. Click Other on the System Configuration tab.
  2. The Other tab displays.
  3. Select a coordinate reference system from the dropdown menu.
  4. The Coordinate Reference System import page displays.
  5. Click Delete.
  6. The Coordinate Reference System is deleted.
